Collet is opened by applying 90PSI air to the Multi-Piston Actuator which is attached to the top of a small precision spindle designed for both high speed drilling or milling operations. This must be done when the spindle is not rotating.

Air Motor is capable of 21,500. RPM with direct drive or lower RPM’s with integral planetary gears. This is the same Air Motor that is used on the standard 36-10 spindle. Gear train has been designed for long life with needle bearings inside each gear. Uses 1/8", 3/16" and 1/4" collets.

The belt drive version has a 1/2" dia. shaft protruding from the Actuator.
